The Sunday Times is apparently seeking to axe north of the border editorial staffing on its Scottish tartan edition.
The Guardian reports that it currently has between 15 and 20 staff and that it will be cut down to four.
A spokeswoman told the paper: “The Sunday Times is reducing the size of the Scottish office because of continuing economic uncertainty. The title will still have dedicated reporters covering Scottish news, politics and sport. Our readers will continue to be offered an unrivalled combination of world and national news in the same package as the rest of the UK.”
