Ratings agency Standard and Poor’s has encouraged ITV investors to sell their shares and has forecast a 13 per cent drop in advertising revenue at the commercial broadcaster in 2009.
In a note today, analysts cut back their revenue and profit forecasts accordingly – with profits now expected to be in the region of £87m, down from £126m last year.
