1911 census offers treasure trove of stories for press

The 1911 census has gone online today promising to provide a rich vein of stories for journalists.

The Guardian has used the census information to carry a piece about the protest messages written by suffragettes on their census forms.

While the Independent finds out who was living in the current homes of Tony Blair and Madonna in 1911.

The census data promises to provide a treasure trove of stories for local newspapers in particular.
