News International is considering taking The Sunday Times compact, following the company’s move to a new £600 million full-colour presses in March, it was reported today.
Ad agency sources told Campaign magazine that the new presses could be the catalyst for the move which would see the the paper move to a seven column grid and using pull-out sections rather than polybagged supplements.
A spokeswoman for the company said this was “gossip and speculation”.
