Former Sheffield Wednesday Dave Allen has settled a dispute with two of the club’s fans over offensive comments made about him on the BBC Five Live’s BBC’s 606 online forum, according to the Sheffield Star.

The case involving the BBC is one of two recent defamation cases involving Sheffield Wednesday executives and online fan forums. The other case involved fan site OwlsTalk.
