Mediachannel.org, the website set up in 2000 by former CBS and ABC producer Danny Schechter has been taken over by international media research company Media Tenor.
Schechter who currently blogs as the News Dissector, will continue remain a contributor and blogger for the site, the press release says, as will co-founder Rory O’Connor, who oversees the site and writes the Media is Plural blog.
Editorial plans will be announced by Media Tenor in March.
