Many retired journalists have asked me why Press Gazette can’t offer them a similar discounted subscription to the one we offer students.
It’s a good question, and one which has resulted in us launching a first discount for those who have hung up their notebook and pen.
Rather than the £115 standard rate for 12 monthly issues, those have retired can now subscribe to Press Gazette for £40 a year, or £10 a quarter if you prefer.
The magazine may have changed a lot since you last read it, so why not have a browse through this free sample edition to see if it is for you?
While this website aims to first for breaking news about British journalism and journalists – the magazine remains the only place to read in-depth coverage, insider insight, the gossip, the columnists and the investigations. Our roster of contributors includes: John Dale, David Banks, Lori Miles, Grey Cardigan, Peter Kirwan, Alex Thomson and Kevin Marsh.
As a print subscriber, you also get free access to the digital edition version of the print magazine (browsable by iPad and Android mobile phone) and to an archive of browsable digital back-copies going back to 2005. So you can catch up on all the great stuff you have missed.
