IPC Media to launch new homes magazine

By Press Gazette

IPC Media is to launch a new monthly home interiors magazine in May after claiming success with a pilot version of the title.

The new magazine – called Style At Home – will serves the budget end of the homes market by featuring affordable shopping and decorating ideas.

Ideal Home interior’s editor Jennifer Morgan will edit the new title, which will be priced at £1.99 on the newsstand, and oversee recruitment of a new editorial team of nine to run the title.

Style At Home was launched as a pilot on newsstands nationwide in February and has to date published three issues.

From May, the new magazine will also include a free 12-page food magazine pull-out.

Jackie Newcombe, IPC Southbank managing director, said: “It is a well-known fact that we at IPC invest heavily in consumer insight.

“Through talking to consumers over the past couple of years it has become very clear that increasing numbers of home owners, and even those who rent, want to create a home that truly reflects their personality.

“Post-recession, people are now more home-based and of course many are looking to stretch their budgets as far as they can.

“Style At Home caters for this consumer and complements perfectly the other six more premium titles that we publish in the home sector.”
