Emap has relaunched weekly title Nursing Times title aiming to more closely meet the needs of nurses.
According to Emap, the revamp is the result of research gleaned from surveying more than 1,000 nurses and further in-depth interviews.
Jenni Middleton, editor of Nursing Times, said: ‘We have spent the past few months talking to nurses and increasing our understanding of what they want from their weekly title.
‘Their feedback has helped us make the significant changes we’ve introduced, increasing the usability of the already well-respected practice section.
‘We’ve added in more practical, hands-on advice for busy nurses, introducing sections to help support the leadership aspirations of increasingly stressed nurse managers in a practical way, and improving the accessibility and readability of our outstanding and market-leading news section.”
The first issue of 2011 includes several new editorial features, including a news round-up of nursing stories, The Nursing Week, interviews and profiles of nurses, leadership advice and a new section giving practical tips on clinical concerns.
