Think Publishing was the big winner at the PPA independent publishers awards yesterday scooping three prizes including the coveted award of independent publishing company of the year.
The publisher also collected the customer magazine of the year prize for its magazine, Beer, as Think’s Tilly Boulter collected the individual achievement award.
Think Publishing beat off competition from Shortlist Media which collected two awards. Its Shortlist title was named consumer magazine of the year while Shortlist magazine’s Chris Deacon won the designer of the year prize.
In their sixth year the awards reward independent publishers with a turnover of £7 million or below.
The awards were presented by Dragons’ Den star and entrepreneur James Caan at a lunchtime ceremony in London yesterday.
