Mag ABCs: TV Choice closes gap on What’s On TV

By Press Gazette

Bauer's TV Choice has again gained ground in its campaign to topple IPC's What's On TV from top position in the TV listings market.

What's On TV held on to pole position, posting an ABC of 1,437,650, but the 4.3 per cent year-on-year decrease meant that TV Choice, with an 11.6 per cent increase, is now trailing its rival by just 84,214.

TV Choice's increase may well be due to a 40p to 33p price cut last year.

Former market leader the Radio Times saw sales fall by 1.1 per cent to 1,082,338.
