Accountancy Age e-book to woo young professionals

VNU's Accountancy Age has launched a digital magazine in an attempt to engage young finance professionals.

The first edition of Young Professional has a launch circulation of 20,000 and the publisher claims it is the first fully digital magazine for the younger members of the accountancy profession.

The launch uses technology developed by specialist company Olive to give the e-book the feel of flicking through a magazine.

Accountancy Age editor-in-chief Damian Wild said he hoped the title would win over young professionals who would be enticed to continue to read the parent title.

"It's getting harder and harder to engage with young accountants.
