Musgrave to quit Drapers for PR

By Press Gazette

Drapers editorial director Eric Musgrave will quit the magazine in May to become a director and partner at London PR firm Identity.

Musgrave has been with Emap since 1996, working on fw magazine before becoming editor-in-chief of Drapers Record and Menswear magazines six years ago. In that role, Musgrave merged the two titles to create the fashion business weekly Drapers in October 2002. He was promoted to editorial director two years later.

In a memo sent to staff, Drapers publishing director Natasha Christie-Miller wrote: "We wish Eric really well in his new role and look forward to watching his continued success."

The recruitment process to find a replacement is beginning immediately, Christie-Miller said.
