PC Zone promotes Sefton to editor

By Press Gazette

Future Entertainment has appointed Jamie Sefton as editor of PC
games magazine PC Zone. Moving into the editor’s chair one month before
the magazine’s relaunch, Sefton, left, replaces Dave Woods, who leaves
Future after overseeing the redesign.

Sefton has worked on PC
Zone for three years, most recently as associate editor. He previously
worked on Dennis Publishing’s PlayNation and Future’s Arcade and
Official PlayStation 2 Magazine.

He said: “I’m delighted to be
taking over the big chair. For me, the battle to make Zone a
significantly different proposition from PC Gamer is more important
than ever. The team and I will continue to make a magazine in our own
way, while freshening up our approach to reporting on the PC games
market.”
