Press Gazette wants to make clear that Yellow Advertiser editor
Paula Dady was not shown a controversial advert placed in her paper by
Tory MP Bob Spink before publication.
Paula, therefore, was in no
way responsible for the advertisement. We regret that our story on page
four last week (22 April) stated that she had “missed” the
advertisement going in and had “failed” to see it. Our apologies to
Paula for any distress caused.
