Head of analysis and research for news at the BBC, Sue Inglish, has
been appointed to the newly combined role of head of political
programmes, analysis and research.
The role encompasses Inglish’s current duties and the vacant role of head of political programmes.
Inglish will take on additional responsibility for all of the BBC’s political programming.
She
said: “I’m looking forward to working with the programme teams who are
responsible for maintaining the BBC’s well-deserved reputation for
impartiality, fairness and accuracy.”
