Hats off to Charles McGhee, editor of the Glasgow Evening Times , for rewarding two of his reporters with a cash bonus for their work on a major campaign. No doubt David Leask and John McCann would say that preventing the closure of a maternity hospital was reward enough for their hard work.
But -other editors take note-a few extra quid in the back pocket is never going to go amiss, either.
