The NPF: the Journalists’ Charity, West Midlands luncheon that takes place on 26 March has an extra prize for one lucky guest.
In honour of celebrity guest Richard Whiteley, the television presenter famed for his flashy ties, Michelson’s, on behalf of the Guild of British tie makers, has donated a box of 10 ties.
They will be given to the guest sporting the most outlandish or flashy tie at the event.
The finalists will be judged by Whiteley, who will present the ties, worth around £350, to the winner. The venue for the luncheon is the Botanical Gardens, Edgbaston.
