PA stalwart and an archetypal Englishman

By Press Gazette

The Financial Times has taken on Steve Johnson as its currency correspondent. Having run the UK stock markets team since 2002, he has also worked for FT YourMoney as deputy editor, and FT Market Watch, where he was funds editor.

Jane Fuller, financial editor, commented: “One of Steve’s strengths is his knowledge of fund management, so he will be very much plugged in to what currency movements mean for investors, as well as providing specialist coverage of foreign exchange markets.”
