New appointment at MacUser

By Press Gazette

MacUser has appointed Nik Rawlinson, as its new editor, writes Ruth Addicott.

He succeeds Ian Betteridge, who left the fortnightly magazine to freelance a few months ago.

Rawlinson has been deputy editor of PCW(Personal Computer World) for the past three years, having previously freelanced on internet titles, as well as ComputerActive, What PC, MacFormat and the Evening Standard.

“It’s a very successful magazine, it has been around almost 20 years so I won’t be making any rapid changes,” Rawlinson said.

“We have got a good team in place and obviously they’re a key resource I will be drawing on.”
