Darren Parkin, a former editor of the Solihull News, is returning to newspapers after spending two years in PR. Parkin has been made editor of Canary Island Publications in Lanzarote.
“PR was an interesting side-step and I enjoyed the brief diversion,” he said. “But I think I was kidding even myself by thinking it would be easy to break away from something I love doing.”
