BBC Ten O’Clock News anchor Huw Edwards was named best on-screen presenter for the second year running at this year’s Welsh Bafta Awards ceremony, which he also compered.
He won the award for his work on the BBC Wales debate programme The Exchange.
Johnny Owen: The Long Journey, a film charting the trip by the late boxer’s father to Mexico to meet the man who killed his son in the boxing ring, was named best documentary. Its director, Dylan Richards, won the best director (non-drama) prize for the film , which was shown on BBC Four.
