Hull returns home to Dream position

By Press Gazette

Nick Hull, veteran radio news producer and presenter, has returned to his local broadcasting roots as news editor at Chelmsford-based Dream 107.7 FM.

Hull, who left his job as desk editor at Sky News Radio after four years, began at the Tindle Group-owned Dream 107.7 this week.

He has been a radio journalist for 23 years and is a former head of news at Essex Radio Group, where he was in charge of output for Essex FM, The Breeze and Ten 17 FM. He was at the group for nearly eight years.

After that, he moved to talkSPORT, where he edited and presented the breakfast and news programmes before moving on to produce and present the drive time show.

“I’ve returned to local radio at Dream 107.7 because it is part of a radio station and I’ll get a buzz from that as opposed to supplying news to other stations. I’ve always believed in local radio, and Tindle is a forward-thinking group,” he said.

Hull’s job at Sky Radio News, which he left last week, is to be advertised.
