Page 3 girl turns back on the Star

By Press Gazette

Does a newspaper have exclusive rights to a topless model whose page-three career it has kick-started?

Daily Star editor Peter Hill must be pondering that question this week as the paper’s new topless find, Jodie Marsh, appeared on The Sun’s front page and page three on Wednesday.

The Star made Marsh’s dream come true by making her its page-three girl and has been promoting her strongly, claiming its readers voted for Jodie three to one over rival busty model Jordan.

But Marsh, who appeared in ITV1’s documentary Essex Wives and is a former Stringfellows lapdancer, has taken the Wapping shilling and transferred her charms to Rebekah Wade’s page three because “The Sun only picks the prettiest”.
