
The Press Association is planning to cut seven reporters as part of a restructuring of the news agency’s regional reporting network.
The agency entered a period of consultation last month with its regional staff over plans to implement a new structure outside of London – it also plans to cut two subeditor positions.
A spokeswoman for PA said: “We are proud of our regional network which currently has over 100 multi-skilled journalists working in the nations, regions and Ireland.
