Stornoway Gazette Twitter feed goes rogue

By Axegrinder

Whoever runs the Stornoway Gazette Twitter feed appears to have been on the whisky.

Axegrinder tried calling up the Johnston Press weekly this morning to point out that they might want to check out their Twitter feed. But no one was picking up the phone.

Perhaps the office has been taken over by militant Scottish nationalists? Axegrinder will tell all once he finds out. Meanwhile, the rogue tweets had been live for 12 hours at time of writing (8.40am).

Axegrinder understands the account has been locked so Johnston Press, which is aware of the identity of the tweeter, cannot delete the messages.
