Sunday Mirror and Sunday People cover prices to go up 10p to £1.10

The Sunday Mirror and Sunday People’s cover prices are to go up by 10p each to £1.10 this weekend.

The price change comes after tabloid rivals The Sun on Sunday and Daily Star Sunday today unveiled new editors.

Victoria Newton has been named as editor The Sun on Sunday ahead of a relaunch of that title this weekend. Meanwhile acting editor of the Dail Start Sunday, Peter Carbery, who has been named editor.

The Sunday Mirror’s average circulation in August was 1,063,293, down 3.44 per cent year on year, while the Sunday People’s was 425,293, down 7.13 per cent.

Meanwhile, the Daily Star Sunday’s circulation was 346,205, down 21.25 per cent year on year, and The Sun Sunday’s was 1,916,570, down 10.17 per cent year on year.
