The Sun’s head of sport has been appointed to work across the Evening Standard, Independent, i and London Live.
Mike Dunn will join as the multimedia head of sport after this summer’s football World Cup in Brazil.
He has been head of sport at The Sun for seven years and was previously sports editor at the News of the World. He has worked for News International and News UK for 29 years.
Andrew Mullins, managing director of ESL and IPL and CEO of London Live ESTV, said: "I'm thrilled that Mike has decided to join us and lead our ambitions in sport.
"This new appointment of a multimedia Head of Sport is the first of a number of exciting plans we have to develop our editorial operation over the next few months."
Dunn's departure from The Sun was announced last month. According to the Sports Journalists' Association, The Sun said in a statement: “As part of ongoing changes at The Sun with regards to publishing on multiple platforms, we have reached mutual agreement with Mike Dunn that he will be leaving the newspaper… Mike is a sports legend and goes with our best wishes.”
Dunn told the SJA: “I am delighted I will still be staying to see The Sun though the 2014 World Cup. That seems an appropriate finale – all we need now is an historic England triumph to cap my own 29 incredible years.”
