The newspaper website offers near-live clips of goals and highlights from Champions League, Europa League, Premier League, FA Cup and Scottish Premiership matches.

In an announcement, The Sun said that Sky TV customers with Sky Sports will be able to request voucher codes to access The Sun+ website using their Sky ID at Sky.com/sungoals.

The news comes shortly after Sky Sports won the rights, along with Sun publisher News UK, to show Premier League clips online from the 2016/17 season.

Sun editor David Dinsmore said: “This is a fantastic partnership that will give Sky customers access not only to goals and highlights, but also The Sun’s world-class football journalism.

"We are delighted to be able to introduce The Sun’s football coverage to a wider audience.”
