The People’s chief sports writer Andy Dunn has been poached to do the same job at the News of the World.
Dunn is leaving the People after 13 years.
News of the World sports editor Paul McCarthy said: ‘I’m delighted to have Andy on board. He deserves the biggest platform and that’s what he will get at the News of the World.”
