News UK has secured Champions League footage for readers of the Sun, Times and Sunday Times from the 2015/16 season.
Sky last week lost out on showing the flagship European competition on TV after being outbid by BT broadband.
Readers and subscribers to News UK’s newspapers will be able to download highlights of the games.
Under the terms of the deal, subscribers will be able to watch highlights of all 146 UEFA Champions League games as well as the lesser UEFA Europa League.
Subscribers already have access to 380 Barclays Premier League matches as well as highlights from the Scottish Premiership.
News UK has also secured rights for FA Cup matches and highlights of England internationals.
News UK chief executive Mike Darcey said: "Once again we are building on the solid foundations of our world class journalism to offer the most comprehensive and compelling experience for our readers. It's proving that our renowned news brands are the only choice for sports fans in the digital era".
The near-live highlights are available to Sun, Sunday Times and Times digital subscribers and to Sun newspaper readers on a day-by-day basis using codes which are printed in the paper.
