MP questions use of ‘state secrecy rules’ by celeb to stop Sun reporting of extramarital threesome

By PA Mediapoint

A politician who used parliamentary privilege to expose soccer star Ryan Giggs as the celebrity protected by a privacy injunction says he has concerns about judges barring The Sun from reporting on a "well-known" man's "extramarital activities".

The Sun on Sunday wanted to publish an "account" of the man's "sexual exploits" with others. But two Court of Appeal judges have imposed an injunction – preventing the newspaper from identifying the man in an article.

Former Liberal Democrat MP John Hemming says the decision worries him.
