Freelance national press interviewer Rob McGibbon is taking to the stage to host a series of live celebrity interviews at Chelsea’s Canogan Hall.
For the ‘In Conversation With” series, McGibbon will go head-to-head with the Today programme’s John Humphrys, then former Sun editor Kelvin Mackenzie – McGibbon’s boss when he was a showbiz reporter in the late 1980s. Also in the line-up is actress Felicity Kendal.
It is the first time that the 800-seater Cadogan Hall has staged live interviews and plans are already in place to expand the series for an autumn run.
McGibbon, 46, is the founder of the aggregation website Accessinterviews.com – which will broadcast the interviews – and currently writes two weekly interview columns, My Tube and The Definite Article, for the Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine.
