The Sun was yesterday hit with an injunction banning it from publishing ‘private’ photographs of actress Kate Winslet’s new husband.
Ned RocknRoll, 34, born Abel Smith, sought an injunction after the paper asked him for a comment on pictures taken in 2010, The Sun reports this morning.
His lawyers argued that publishing the images would be an invasion of his privacy.
Barrister David Sherbourne told the High Court the photos were “innocent but naive”, adding: “We’re not trying to hide a guilty secret.”
Another injunction hearing is due to take place on Monday, 7 January.
Titanic star Winslet, 37, married her third husband last month.
