Former Times journalist edits WSJ lifestyle mag

Veteran British women’s magazine journalist Tina Gaudoin has been appointed editor of a new quarterly lifestyle magazine that the Wall Street Journal is planning to launch.

The WSJ describes it as it as a” high end” publication. Ms Gaudoin has extensive experience on magazines on both sides of the Atlantic.

She began as beauty editor onTatler. In l992 she moved to New York to work on the re-launch of Harper’s Bazaar. During her time in New York she also worked on Vogue as a senior writer and then as a TV presenter.

On her return to London she was appointed deputy editor of Tatler before helping launch the women’s magazine Frank. After that she became editorial director of the website iVillage UK.

She joined The Times of London in 2003 as style director of its Saturday magazine and was named editor of the quarterly magazine The Times Luxx in June last year. Outside of journalism her interests include yoga and dance. She is cofounder of the triyoga, a yoga centre in London , and the Rambert Dance Company.
