Sun editor Rebekah Wade and her actor husband Ross Kemp have been granted a divorce.
Wade, as petitioner, was granted a decree nisi by a district judge sitting at the Principal Registry of the Family Division of the High Court in central London.
The tabloid newspaper editor and the former EastEnders star did not attend the proceedings.
She and Kemp, 44, who played Grant Mitchell in the BBC soap, married in a Las Vegas ceremony on 11 June 2002.
In a written question-and-answer style divorce document before the court, Wade said that since October 2006 she had not lived in the same household as Kemp.
