The Sun has appointed Clodagh Hartley as its first female lobby journalist.
Hartley will join the paper’s Pascoe-Watson, Graeme Wilson and David Wooding at Westminster as consumer and home affairs correspondent.
Sun political editor George Pascoe-Watson described Hartley “as a distinguished veteran news reporter with ten years of experience on the road”.
He added: ‘Clodagh’s expansive new role will be to develop and examine the growing links between politics and the world of commerce.”
