Third new mag launch for Future this year

By Andrew Pugh

Magazine publisher Future has announced the launch of Practical Photoshop – its third new title launch this year.

Practical Photoshop is a monthly magazine aimed at helping readers improve their Adobe Photoshop skills and “demystifying” the process of improving digital images.

The first edition hits newsstands on 2 June and will cost £5.99.

Editor Ben Brain said: ‘Practical Photoshop’s smartly written, straight-talking tutorials with accompanying video lessons will empower readers to unleash their creativity. As well as simplifying the challenges of post-processing and image manipulation, we will inspire our readers by showcasing stunning images in our galleries.’

Group publisher Matt Pierce added: ‘Practical Photoshop is a natural fit for our Digital Creative portfolio. Our research showed clear consumer appetite for a bigger, better title that helps photographers and creative computer users get more from their favourite software.”

Future’s other titles in its Digital Creative portfolio include Digital Camera, Computer Arts and ImagineFX. Earlier this year it launched iCar and MollieMakes.
