Free London weekly Sport has a new managing director and will be switching to a smaller size from 28 March when it moves to a new printing facility at St Ives, Peterborough.
The magazine’s sister title in France received a positive response after moving to the smaller 242×300 mm ‘travel’size, a company spokeswoman said. This month, Sport boosted its pagination from to 64 pages, from 48 pages in February.
Publisher Greg Miall has been promoted to managing director of the UK editon of the magazine after Nadia Nardonnet decided to move back to France. Editor-in-chief Simon Caney, will joining Miall as member of the comapny’s board.
Christian Lamolinerie, chairman and chief executive of parent company Sport Media & Strategie, said: ‘Nadia has done an exceptional job in setting up the magazine. Her vision and drive have been a key part in making the magazine the huge success it has become.
