Northern & Shell is to publish a magazine for the fashion brand Very, in a move that marks owner Richard Desmond’s first venture into contract publishing.
The media company that already owns the Daily and Sunday Express, Daily Star, OK! Magazine, and Channel 5 Richard Desmond has struck a deal to produce the magazine with Shop Direct, the owner of the Very brand.
Shop direct customers will be sent the magazine directly, while the title will also be included within OK! Magazine multi-pack of supplements, which currently includes New! and Star magazines.
Very will be a monthly title, featuring 156 pages of lifestyle and fashion content edited by the OK! team. The first issue will have a print run of 400,000 and will feature articles on Taylor Swift, Jason Statham and Fearne Cotton, who designs her own range of clothing for Very,
