The New Statesman has launched a media news website as part of its continued expansion online.
News content on the new site focuses on the commercial side of media across four categories: broadcast, magazines, newspapers and digital.
Around 25 stories a day are appearing on the site, which went live yesterday afternoon, covering the UK and the rest of the world.
It follows the launch last month of a new business landing page for the New Statesman featuring up to 30 stories a day covering automotive, banking and insurance, energy, food and drink, pharmaceuticals and technology.
As well as news, the NS media section features film and TV reviews and other media related features from the weekly magazine.
New Statesman deputy editor Jon Bernstein said: “The media section is the latest part of a huge online expansion for the New Statesman. Last month we launched a business section and there will be more to come over the next few months.”
New Statesman is part of the same publishing group as Press Gazette.
