IPC shake-up sees Eric Fuller exit

By Dominic Ponsford

IPC Ignite managing director Eric Fuller is leaving the company at the end of the year as part of a restructure which will see a “small number” of jobs axed.

A spokesman for the consumer mag giant said they could not be more specific about the number of ‘cross functional’roles which were going because consultation was ongoing.

Under the shake-up the IPC TX and IPC Ignite divisions will disappear.

Instead the company will comprise: IPC Inspire, the men’s division – headed by Paul Williams; IPC Connect, the mass market women’s division headed by Fiona Dent; and IPC Southbank, the up-market women’s division headed by Jackie Newcombe.

CEO Evelyn Webster said: “By organising IPC by consumer audience, rather than by magazine frequency or subject area, we will create a more market-facing structure, which will also bring greater coherence to our operations.”
