Special interest magazine publisher Future has appointed Luke Peters as the editor of technology title T3.
Peters, who is currently deputy editor of the magazine, will replace Michael Brook, who moved earlier this year to become editor of T3 Specials, overseeing the launch of Future’s Gadget Show Magazine.
After seven years at Computeractive, Peters joined Future as deputy editor of T3 in June 2007.
In his new role, Peters will work with senior management to develop the T3 brand, including overseeing the UK print edition as it takes the global lead for content creation and syndicated across the 23 territories in which T3 is published.
Peters will also spearhead T3’s other editorial properties, including The T3 Gadget Awards, T3 Hot 100 and the T3 Tech 100.
According to the most recent figures from the Audit Bureau of Circulations, T3 averaged sales of 59,143 each month in the second half of last year, a drop of 1.6 per cent year-on-year.
