Former Now editor Jane Ennis has been appointed editor at Best, the National Magazine Company’s women’s weekly.

Ennis had been editor at IPC’s Now from 1996 to 2007, before editing First, and working as a magazine and newspaper consultant.

As a consultant, she relaunched the Daily Mail Weekend magazine, First, and Hair.
