FHM Collections style mag returns

By Oliver Luft

Style magazine spin-off FHM Collections will return to the newsstand later this month after an absence of three years.

The free fashion magazine, which was last published in autumn 2006, will be given away with the October edition of the Bauer Media men’s monthly.

The extra magazine will be supported by a four-page House of Fraser advertorial while the main title will be a dedicated music special and including an interview with pop singer Pixie Lott.

The giveaway marks the second month the publishers of FHM have provided readers with a two-for-one deal.

The September edition of FHM marked the return of health and fitness free magazine FHM Bionic.

FHM was deposed as the best-selling title in the men’s paid-for magazine sector in the first half of 2009 as NatMag Rodale’s Men’s Health ended its 13-year reign.

Circulation of FHM fell 16.2 per cent year on year to 235,027, according to figures from the Audit Bureau of Circulations.

The publisher’s said FHM Bionic will now be published twice a year with FHM, as will Collections.
