Bauer Media has announced the decision to suspend the publication of women's weekly magazine More.
The decision to suspend publication, which will take effect after tomorrow’s edition of the magazine, and was made because of “challenging economic conditions” meaning that it was “no long viable”.
The Bauer spokesperson told Press Gazette the title’s Facebook and Twitter pages will remain open until the end of a consultation period for fans to react to its closure.
Bauer has not announced when the consultation period closes and said subscribers would be contacted when a definite decision has been made. No redundancies have so far been made.
According to ABC figures, More’s latest recorded circulation was 92,459 – down 39.4 per cent year on year. Its weekly circulation was around 300,000 in the year 2000.

more! is a well-loved brand which, throughout its impressive 25 year history, has touched, entertained and informed generations of young women in the UK.
The magazine has constantly evolved in order to remain relevant to its audience but continuing challenging economic conditions mean that the product is no longer viable.
The decision to suspend publication has regrettably been made with effect from this week’s issue, published on Tuesday, 23 April.
