“Who knows more about digital disruption than us. No-one?”
This is the pitch being made to readers of Computer Business Review by editor Ambrose McNevin as the technology brand relaunches its website this week.
CBR’s new site is responsively-designed, so can it be viewed on mobile platforms, with new sections including: The Internet of Things, Big Data, Cloud and Cybersecurity.
CBR dropped its print edition last year but continues to bring out a monthly digital edition and employs six full-time journalists.
McNevin said: “The new site and mobile platform provides news, insight and analysis on the whole digital technology sector.
“For any IT or business professional using technology for business advantage the new CBRonline.com provides the content for informed investment decisions.
“Sometimes it is hard to see a revolution when you are in the middle of it but what’s becoming increasingly clear is that digital technology is changing every business. When the senior execs I speak with daily talk to me about how technology is reshaping their business they do so with a mixture of fear and anticipation.
“I like to point out them that I work in publishing and what they are feeling today is what we started to go through 15 years ago. The consumerisation of technology through mobiles, apps and cloud has meant technology has gone mainstream. That is now being felt in every business being hit by the digital change.”
CBR is, like Press Gazette, part of the Progressive Media group of companies.
