Newsweek has announced a series of appointments bringing headcount at its London newsroom to 12.
The expansion follows Matt McAllester joining as Europe editor in August.
In July last year, Newsweek made eight London-based print journalists redundant as well as editor Richard Addis as it scaled back the European print edition which was launched 15 months earlier.
But since then the title, which is part of the IB Times group, has grown its London-based team.

Digital editor of Prospect Magazine Serena Kutchinsky is joining as digital editor and Businesstraveller.com editor Graham Smith has been made deputy online news editor.
Kutchinsky said: “We are putting together an exciting and dedicated team of reporters who will be covering an incredibly diverse range of topics.”
Other staff joining Newsweek in London include: new associate editor Naina Bajekal (previously at the London office of TIME), sports reporter Teddy Cutler (who moves from The Times) and reporter Josh Lowe.
Sister title International Business Times UK employs 60 editorial staff and claims to reach more than 20m unique website visitors per month.
