Parenting and women's lifestyle journalist Annie O'Leary has been appointed editor-in-chief of Netmums.
The parenting website claims to have 1.8m registered members and recieves 8m monthly unique users in the UK.
O'Leary replaces Cathy Ranson, who has worked on the site since 2001 and is moving on to work in editorial consultancy.
Netmums managing director Rimi Atwal said: “Netmums is the UK’s most trusted and influential parenting site with the broadest appeal to mums.
"The brand is in great shape and, as mum of two young children herself, Annie is uniquely placed to understand the needs of young mums.
"We are excited by her vision to grow the business with several new initiatives already planned to launch in 2015."
