Sky News has appointed former BBC financial correspondent Dharshini David as its new business correspondent.
David spent eight years working at the BBC before she joined Tesco last year to take up her current post as the supermarket’s head of broadcast.
Her appointment follows former Daily Telegraph city editor Mark Kleinman joining Sky News earlier this week.
During her time with the BBC David presented Panorama and financial news programmes World Business Report and Business Today as she worked across the corporation’s many domestic and international channels.
